Soft Spring Makeup

This time of year, when the weather is getting warmer, I tend to choose lighter products on my skin and softer, pinker shades on my eyes.

For my base I have been using the Bourjois CC cream together with the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer.  I am still using the Makeup Revolution Bronzer as a subtle contour.  It is such a great shade for pale skin.

For blush I have been using the Milani Powder blush in the shade Tea Rose.  This is a perfect everyday pink shade. I have also switched back to my trusty Milani Brow Fix Kit in light for filling in my brows.  I ran out of my Soap and Glory Brow Archery so picked this back up and I had forgotten how much I like it.

To set my brows in place I use the NYX tinted brow mascara. For eyeshadows I used the Makeup Revolution Flawless 2 palette starting with the shades Infinite and Triumph.  I used a combination of these two shades through the crease before adding a subtle hint of the shade Sound over the top.  Over the centre of my lid I applied the shade Excel and in the inner corner the shade Shine.

Using MAC’s Teddy Eye Pencil I lined my top lash line and the outer third of the bottom last line.  My Mascara of choice recently has been the Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Angel mascara. It took me quite a while to get used to this mascara and it’s rather unique brush but now I have mastered my technique I really like it.

For lips I chose the Revlon Colourburst lip butter in the shade Cotton Candy.  Who remembers when these were the popular new thing in the blogger/vlogger world?  Did you have them all?

What’s your go to springtime look?

I love this style of post, it was almost like a YouTube tutorial but I love how I can read along! My go to look recently has been warm eyes and gold highlighter with a nude lip,
